Web browsers; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormCAD, and MicroStation. Knowledge of Ajera Complete is a plus.

The Professional Engineer applies broad knowledge of civil engineering principles including experience in roadway, site development, and utility design. Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Acquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams. Works on multiple projects of all sizes.
The Professional Engineer will have the following duties:
Serves as a technical specialist in the application of civil engineering design services including municipal, County and ODOT roadway, commercial site development, and stormwater modeling and design projects.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for multiple projects.
Completes general fieldwork as necessary to assess site conditions and determine design and survey requirements for new projects, as well as inspects projects under construction.
Analyzes proposed site factors to design plans, graphs, tracings, and diagrams to illustrate findings.
Reads and reviews project plans and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
Reviews drawings for completeness and accuracy.
Designs a complete project, system, component, or process.
Prepares complete project documents.
Designs and conducts experiments and analyzes and interprets data.
Collaborates with internal and external clients to complete projects.
Provides on-going support for Design programs and functions requiring analysis.
Troubleshoots problems associated with existing Design applications, tools, and data.
Assists in preparing scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments.
Mentors junior staff and assists in the training of new employees in standard practices and procedures.
Displays effective time management.
Other duties as required.
Candidate must possess an Oklahoma Driver’s License and have reliable transportation to and from work. Out of town work for short periods of time may be required for the position.
Must be willing to relocate to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
